Write a baseline that is easy to recognize
Describe the plant, pot, desk and camera position in plain language. Keep the first version visually restrained. An elaborate baseline with many effects makes it difficult to identify whether a later improvement came from lighting, motion or composition.
Name the variable in the version label
Use labels such as softer light, slower movement or wider framing. Change one of those dimensions at a time. If a tool or model exposes different controls, record those settings alongside the prompt so the comparison includes more than the wording alone.
Keep decisions tied to the brief
A dramatic version may be less suitable for a calm workspace concept. Review against the intended use, then save the winning instruction and the reason it was chosen. Avoid building a library of attractive outputs whose original purpose is no longer clear.
